Cold,
but bright and sunny, as we set off from Lliber
As
expected it is proving hard work to build up numbers for our new Monday
Explorers
Fortunately Colin asked to join us this week to get in some extra
training for his Camino de Santiago holiday
We
were surprised to see Kevin, as he was hobbling at the end of last Monday’s
walk
Jan
also finished last week’s walk sore and bruised after a fall
Last
week was her first walk with the group and she was recovering from a bad cold
Having
fully recovered she really enjoyed this week
Despite the cool breeze we soon warmed up and removed a few layers
It
was more sheltered at The Cross than I expected, so we opted for an early
lunch
Spring
must be close, because there were quite a few butterflies around
We
had now done all of the climbing and had a gentle downhill walk to Senija
Despite
a sea haze the views were pretty impressive
We
had made better time than expected, so we had a short break in the square in
Senija
On
the way back to Lliber we noticed this chap who was just as interested in us as
we were in him
Although
we would like a few more regular Monday walkers, it was nice to walk with a
small group for a change
We
ended the walk with a drink in the square in Lliber
