29 October 2018 – Castells Arches

Just eleven of us today, much better than the 24 we had last Monday

Bright and sunny day, just right for photography

However it has turned very cold made worse by a strong wind

Fortunately we were all well wrapped up

It was great for walking, but we needed a windbreak when we stopped

It makes a change to need to wrap up to walk 

I enjoyed it today, but would not want it like this all the time

Jan missed the walk, having caught a bug over the weekend

Elaine also missed the walk with similar symptoms

Both were missed, hope that they made a fast recovery and are walking again soon

This is the last walk for Cory and Didi until next year

We will miss them both, and particularly the photographs he took of each walk

We kept up a good pace and averaged almost 4km a hour

As a result we arrived in Castells half an hour earlier than expected

And managed to keep our jackets on throughout the walk

We were very pleased to get to the warm bar
