Eleven of us for today’s walk
This included two new members
Jo had travelled from Tarbena to walk with us
And Jan from Lorcha for her first walk with the group
We were fortunate to have a blue sky, though a very cold
wind
Thanks to Kev for this great photo which shows what an
impressive walk this is
Thanks also to Mike who always provides great photographs
from each walk
Despite the cold we had warmed up by the first water stop
Then a short banana stop because we could not find a sun
trap
The uphill road just before lunch warmed us up again
Carol and John found the best spot for their picnic
But again a short break due to the cold
Thanks to Mike for this second great photo of the area
The second half of the walk is downhill all the way
This prompted me to consider whether it might be best to
do this walk in reverse next time
Quite pleased that we did not get lost in the warren of
streets in Benedoleig
And all made it safely to the bar
