6 December 2018 – Lliber to Senija Cross

Thirteen happy wanderers for today’s walk

Great to be on a lovely walk on such a fresh and warm morning
Gone were the warm winter clothes and back were shorts and shirt sleeves
It is usually a very upbeat group, but everyone seemed particularly cheerful today
Thanks to Karina for this one
She still works full time and can only join us on holidays

She enjoyed Bernia last time, but this one was much less of a challenge
It was busy at The Cross, including two neighbours of Mike and Elaine
Trevor and Lara were walking with us for the first time
We had lunch at The Cross because it was so pleasant there
But we also had a short break in Senija square
We expected it to be busy because of the weather and being a holiday
But in fact it was as quiet as usual
At least it was apart from us!
We were all very impressed with this wall painting
The gentle walk back to Lliber is my favourite part of the walk
The views of the village and the Jalon Valley are impressive
And the drink in the square was a fitting end to a very enjoyable walk

There are more photographs of the walk in the video slideshow.
