Jan and I walked to Alcalali this morning for a coffee and toastada

took the camera - just in case
This
is part of our planned Almond Blossom Walk and we wanted to see how the blossom
is looking
Not
yet in full bloom but does not seem to have been at all damaged by the recent
storms or the well reported blight earlier this year
We
also spotted this beauty enjoying the sun just beside the rubbish bins
And
wondered why someone had used their shoes to prop up this sad looking almond
tree
We
also noticed a big increase in the number of people out walking
We
always get a lot of visitors to the valley at this time of year
Which
is not surprising when there are views like this at every turn
It
makes us appreciate how lucky we are to live in such a lovely area
