of us met for our first mid-summer meal
After
some consideration we booked La Estufa in Parcent
A
10 euro menu del dia which included half a bottle of wine played a large part
in our decision
We
opted to sit inside as the summer midday temperatures make it too uncomfortable
to sit outside
We
have sampled the tapas menu del dia before, and thought it would be better than
a full three course meal
Everyone
seemed to enjoy the meal, and we are looking forward to the next one in August
Kevin
and Janet invited a group of us to their house as they had some booze they
wanted to get rid of
All
of the group, apart from us, also attend a Spanish course in Benidoleig each
week
Since
our group stopped walking at the end of May they have arranged a weekly evening
walk
I
admire their energy, because it is still very hot until late evening
I
think a large part of the attraction is the after walk drink, which is required
to replace liquids lost
They were kind enough to invite us to join them, but I think our daily
early morning walk suits us better
And
we have visitors throughout August, which will keep us well occupied
We
had a lovely day, both the meal and the afternoon around the pool.
