Fifteen
of us for today’s walk
This
included Elaine and Mike who walked with us for the first time
It
was also nice to welcome Barry and Linda who are paying a short visit
Overcast
morning, but at least no threat of rain
It
was also quite cool for this time of year
But
the sun soon made an appearance
And
it turned into another perfect walking day
Our
picnic site was chosen to provide shade on a hot day
So
I was a little concerned that it might be too cold today
But
I need not have worried, it was very pleasant when we got there
On
the way back we stopped at the mirador
To
enjoy the very impressive view
The
downhill path was more difficult than normal due to being very dry
But
the many sightings of butterfly’s made up for it
We choose a different bar for our after walk drinks today
Where
the two John’s made us very jealous by ordering this very tasty snack
Another
excellent walk, but unfortunately David’s last before the summer break
