Eleven
of us for today’s walk
Anita’s
husband Jan joined us for the first time
It
was also nice to welcome back Carol and John
In
fact there were four John’s today, we will have to start numbering them
There
were also two Jan’s (female) and one Jan (male)
As
we reached the coast there was a lot of cloud and mist
In
fact we were a little concerned that there might be a storm building up
However
it cleared as we reached the fort
It
was now quite warm, but with a cool breeze
Everyone
enjoyed our banana break
And
as always there was no shortage of conversation
Everyone
managed the chain on the coastal path and the steep climb to the mirador
Then
downhill to the beach and our picnic lunch
Anita made herself comfortable after our picnic
And
she was not the only one
But
we had to get started again before everyone got too settled
There
is a steep climb back up to the cars but frequent stops and the cool wind made
it seem easier than usual
We
had a crisis when the first bar was closed, and then the second
But
we persevered and the third was open
