23 of us met at L’Era in Parcent for the last
group summer meal
We had planned to have our August meal there, but it was
fully booked when we tried to do so in mid July
As might be expected it was packed, and being Spanish was
also very noisy
And our table did its best to add to the noise volume
We had three very large paella pans between us
There was more than enough food, and a plentiful supply
of wine and water
Today is also Jan’s birthday, and as you can see it is a significant
one
We had not booked today just because it was her birthday,
but it proved a great way to celebrate
We crossed the road to Bar Estuffa for a drink. Dave and Sue then produced an unexpected,
and very large, birthday cake. More than
enough for everyone
