A
lot of new faces on todays walk
It
was nice to welcome Anita back, together with her daughter Lianne
It
is good to have a younger person on the walk now and again, if only to keep us
on our toes.
We
also welcomed Richard and Brenda on their first walk with the group
They
are still working in the UK, but have recently bought a holiday home here
And
finally we welcomed Jan and Barry on their first walk with us
No
rain this week, but most days have been overcast
Today
was no exception, and it was also a little colder than usual
This
was not a problem when we were walking, and even less when climbing
We
had planned to have our picnic at the top of Tossel del Moro
However
when we got there it was cloudy and a cold wind
A
few hardy souls remained at the top
But
most dropped down to find a windbreak
The
result was a hasty lunch and a shorter than usual break
However
everyone warmed up again once we resumed the walk
Despite
the cloudy sky we had a very enjoyable walk
Nice
to welcome new walkers to the group and pleased they fit in so well
The
only serious problem was that all the bars in Gata were closed because it was
Easter Monday
