Lovely weather for our first Thursday walk after the
summer break
We often do this walk for the first of the season,
because it is one of our easier routes
This roughhewn mini chair was a good excuse for an
unscheduled stop
David can always be relied upon to take a few extra
photos for the blog
Including this one of our banana break in the dry river bed
There were 13 of us today, enough to have lots to talk about but not too large
Everyone looks really pleased to be out walking again
We went at a slower pace than last year, when most found
it quite difficult
Perhaps we are fitter this year, because most thought it to be much easier it was last year
But we were all quite happy to get to the bar at the end of the walk
